Playing catchup

It’s been a while since I reported on what the internet has been up to. Here’s what I’ve found: The Brick Testament depicts famous events and axioms from the bible with lego characters.

Rendr shows off some snazzy html rendering coolness, found via the del.icio.us awesome tag. This NPR story about a graffitti artist who tags by cleaning walls and sidewalks comes from the same tag. Indeed awesome.

While I was prowling for the Gnarls Barkley performance of ‘Crazy’ at the MTV Movie awards, I stumbled onto the 8-Bit video series from Cool Hunting. It’s all about music made on video game machines. Check them out: 1 2 3 4 5

Continuing on, Joe Kittinger got into a balloon, went 19 1/2 miles into the sky, and jumped out. He brought his camera. He ended up breaking the sound barrier and lived to tell the tale.

i could watch that video everyday. a wookie on the drums… what more could you ask for…. well besides a robotically enhanced cat.

I noticed the video link now actually opens a new window and takes me to youtube…. i still tap once a day.

If you click the big Play symbol it takes you to the youtube site, but when you click the button on the bottom it’ll play in the page.
