I was (as per usual) pretty annoyed with the traffic tonight, but the destination made it worthwhile: I paid a visit to the USC Interactive Media Prototype Thesis Show. It was great. Passively multiplayer online games and a kickass multicolor LED-lit interactive dancefloor were just a couple of the featured theses. When I arrived the dancefloor was running Conway’s Game of Life, and touching a tile on the dancefloor turned it into an active cell. I was also turned on to Second Life Safari.
So yeah, traffic in LA = horrific nightmare, but then like childbirth the end result makes you forget the anguish.
