The recent State of the Union speech brought up the issue of global warming. Back at the ranch, the president had more to say about the issue.

Well it’s my birthday too, yeah!
I share my birthday with Leadbelly and Django Reinhardt according to the wikipedia page about my birthday. The number 23 is also associated with all sorts of weird stuff.
I picked a good time to get the hell out of the subways. Apparenty a guy poured a vial of mercury out at the Pershing square subway station. He then proceeded to call the MTA hotline and report the toxic chemical spill. After that he disappeared and has yet to be found.
Note that Mercury is a deadly toxin.
Terrorism experts say it may have been a dry run, testing the waters for a later, deadlier attack. So how long did it take for a response? 8 hours. Now I’m sure, based on previous experience, that MTA is not always so slow to respond. If the man had just pulled out a gun and started mowing down subway riders, the response would’ve probably taken only two or three hours.
Deja vu, but who cares!

Flickr is getting the equivalent of iTunes smart playlists. If you don’t know what flickr (or iTunes) is, this will mean nothing to you. If you’re a flickr addict, this is pure crack.
